3-year-olds can participate just for fun — not eligible for state advancement.

Ages 4–11 compete by age group (boys and girls combined).

Age group is based on the child’s age on event day.

Winners are determined by who pulls the sled the farthest in their age group.

Top 3 in each group receive trophies and qualify for the State Pedal Pull.

All equipment is provided — just bring your energy!

Parent/guardian signature required for all participants.

Pull ends when forward motion stops; distance is measured at that point.

One state qualification per child per year.

Tractors and seat settings are assigned by age group, not individually.

Safety first! Pullers must stay seated, keep feet on pedals, and avoid jerking or lifting the front wheels.

Officials may adjust equipment after every three pullers if needed; affected participants will re-pull at the end of the group.
